For TenneT, Fesma was active in the settlement domain, with the aim of making processes future-proof and simultaneously migrating and automating existing systems. The focus was on designing solutions that support both new and existing business processes, within a complex IT environment that is constantly changing.
Within this assignment, Fesma worked closely with multiple DevOps teams. From the role of architect, we ensured that Epics were developed into concrete solutions that contribute to the long-term Enterprise Architecture. This architecture is built from microservices that communicate with each other via a pub-sub architecture pattern. A scalable and flexible design that fits the dynamics of TenneT's environment.
In addition to designing the IT and data architecture, the emphasis was also on collaboration with the business. This coordination made the chosen business architecture not only technically robust, but also fully aligned with TenneT's operational reality and strategic goals.
