During an internal audit within the Network & Datacenter of ABN AMRO, an important point of attention emerged: the responsibilities and tasks within and between departments were insufficiently defined. The result? Tasks were left undone, responsibilities were unclear and vulnerabilities arose in the network. The assignment was clear, but extensive: bring structure to cross-departmental processes and make ownership transparent.
Fesma sought the connection with the employees. In discussions, it was determined together who was responsible for what. Fesma made overarching processes visually clear and ensured that roles and responsibilities were clearly assigned. In this way, not only were the audit requirements met, but it was also possible to effectively manage follow-up and reviews.
